Pet Crate
Rrovide you with a comprehensive introduction to the essential factors in choosing the right pet immigration crate, ensuring optimal care for your beloved companion during the relocation process.
Choose Your Pet Crate
An appropriate pet crate must allow each animal in the container to have enough space to stand, to sit erect, to lie in a natural position and to turn about normally while standing. Hence, in order to choose your pet crate, you need to know your pet measurements.
Pet measurements:
A =length of animal from tip of nose to base/root of tail.
B =height from ground to elbow joint.
C = width across shoulders or widest point (whichever is the greater).
D =height of animal in natural standing position from top of the head or the ear tip to the floor (whichever is higher).
After measuring your pet, you can calculate the minimum internal crate dimensions of the pet crate:
Length of Crate = A + ½ B
Width of Crate = C x 2
Height of Crate = D + bedding
* Snub-nosed breeds require a 10% larger container.
